Carolina House proudly serves individuals of all genders, aged 17 and older, who are struggling with eating disorders, and those aged 18 and older who are dealing with mental health disorders.
Staff members work with clients to incorporate mindful awareness into their daily lives. Increased awareness is facilitated through classes comprised both of didactic exposure to the concepts of mindfulness, as well as the practice of various techniques. Mindfulness techniques will be continually reinforced during regularly scheduled yoga classes. In addition, clients will have time each day to practice these techniques individually. Mindfulness is a powerful tool to increase awareness, thus providing the opportunity for clients to make more conscious choices regarding their habits.
